Rendering Engineer
The Role
We're looking for a Rendering Engineer who's passionate about real-time graphics and wants to work at the bleeding edge of GPU technology. You'll be designing and implementing visually stunning, technically demanding rendering workloads that stress-test the latest graphics hardware. This is an opportunity to craft the benchmarks that define what modern GPUs can do.
Responsibilities
Design and implement cutting-edge rendering techniques for benchmark workloads
Develop real-time graphics pipelines using Vulkan, DirectX 12, Metal, or similar modern APIs
Create visually impressive scenes that showcase cutting edge rendering techniques
Optimize rendering code to maximize GPU utilization and expose hardware bottlenecks
Collaborate with the team to integrate AI/ML workloads into graphics pipelines
Profile and analyze GPU performance across different hardware vendors
Contribute to the development of new benchmark features and rendering technologies
Requirements
3+ years of professional experience in real-time graphics or game engine development
Strong proficiency in Rust or C++ and shader programming (HLSL/GLSL)
Deep understanding of modern graphics APIs (Vulkan, DX12, Metal)
Solid knowledge of rendering techniques: PBR, deferred/forward rendering, shadow mapping, post-processing
Experience with GPU profiling and performance optimization
Strong math fundamentals (linear algebra, 3D geometry)
Nice to Have
Experience with ray tracing (DXR, Vulkan RT) and path tracing
Familiarity with mesh shaders, variable rate shading, and other modern GPU features
Experience with compute shaders and GPGPU programming
Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks (PyTorch, CUDA, TensorRT)
Contributions to open-source graphics projects or personal rendering experiments
Rust programming experience
