Full-Stack Developer

We're seeking a Full-Stack Developer to build our game building platform using Rust/Axum and React. This platform integrates into our in-house Breda engine and will help both publishing the games as well as hosting the content of the game during production and after ship.

You'll architect secure data storage solutions while creating intuitive interfaces for game developers to manage and publish digital assets.

Key Responsibilities


Core Development

  • Build backend services with Rust/Axum for asset versioning and metadata management
  • Develop React-based frontend for asset browsing/management
  • Implement S3-compatible storage using Cloudflare R2
  • Design REST APIs to integrate the storage solution into the Breda engine

System Architecture

  • Create version control system for game asset iterations
  • Implement secure authentication/authorization flows
  • Optimize asset delivery through CDN integration
  • Ensure GDPR-compliant data handling

Deployment Pipeline

  • Automate app store publishing workflows (Apple App Store/Google Play Store/Steam/Microsoft Store etc)
  • Containerize services using Docker
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines for platform updates
  • Monitor production systems with observability tools

Required Skills

  • 3+ years production experience with:
    • Rust (Axum/Tokio) backend development
    • Modern React (TypeScript)
    • S3-compatible object storage (R2/MinIO/Wasabi)
    • OAuth2/JWT authentication flows
  • Experience with:
    • Version control systems (Git/GitLab CI)
    • NoSQL or Relational databases (MongoDB / PostgreSQL)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expo/React Native publishing experience
  • Gaming industry background
